Latin America & the Caribbean for Unvaccinated Travellers

If you've had the Covid vaccine that is fine with me as I'm an advocate for freedom of choice. I believe vaccinated people should respect the decision of those who decide not to get vaccinated. Life is becoming increasingly difficult for anyone who is not vaccinated against Covid and governments worldwide are putting immense pressure on this section of society. For example, French President Emmanuel Macron declared in January 2022 that his Covid strategy is to ‘piss off’ the unvaccinated and make daily life more and more difficult for them. Persecuting and criminalising people who refuse to get the vaccine is completely unacceptable. It's an intolerable assault on freedom and the right to bodily integrity.

Unvaccinated people are eager to travel again but Covid rules and restrictions make one of the greatest pleasures in life harder. Some countries don’t admit unvaccinated travellers, while others require a mandatory quarantine and extra tests. If you plan on travelling to Latin America or the Caribbean and aren't vaccinated, here’s a list of countries with the least travel restrictions in place. There are some Latin American and the Caribbean countries that don't require proof of vaccination, a Covid test or quarantine! This information can change at any time so do double check before you travel. This post was written for unvaccinated travellers from the UK but could apply to nationals of many other countries around the world.
