Duration of program:
3 weeks minimum, 2 months maximum

Age requirement:
Adults of both sexes 20+

Cost:
The project costs US$20 per day which includes comfortable accommodation (kitchen, living room, terrace, etc) and use of laundry. Meals are bought at two nearby restaurants which offer special rates for volunteers, or they can buy food to cook at the volunteer’s house.

Other information:
If a volunteer or student is interested in developing a research project (internship) at the shelter, it can be done in coordination with our staff. Here is a list of proposed research topics: diet of wild animals in captivity; environmental enrichment; biodiversity inventories and population studies; veterinary medicine; environmental education; environmental interpretation.
