Description

We are a 450 hectare (1100 acre) private reserve and ecotourism lodge, located in the cloud forests of the Tandayapa Valley in North-western Ecuador. We are the first private protected area to become officially part of Ecuador´s system of protected areas.

We offer volunteering options in conservation and ecotourism.

Qualifications/Skills:
None required but experience or strong desire to live in a fairly remote area is recommended.

Year round

Duration of program:
3 weeks to 3 months

Age requirement:
Adults of both sexes 18+ We also accept families

Cost:
We charge US$10 per day for the first 35 days which includes board and lodging. After that there is no further charge, since we consider that he / she knows the tasks assigned. We offer a US$80 transfer from airport (2 hours) if required. Cheaper if transport is shared.

Excellent opportunity if looking for ecotourism or conservation-related experience.
