My name is Rosa and I am a member of the Art of the World Foundation, a non-profit organization where we focus on children and teach them to develop different skills such as different types of art, painting, dance, reading, theater, learning others. languages, games to develop their logic and motor skills, etc.
We are working to help the children of our small rural community in the mountains of Ecuador. We live and work in Pelileo Grande - Ecuador. Nowadays, children have much easier communication due to the constant use of technological devices (cell phones, tablets, laptops). We forget basic skills, in addition to the fact that the community faces a lack of spaces focused on culture, art, and education. Our Foundation focuses on providing a safe, comfortable, quiet and spacious space so that the children of our community are comfortable and can be children and play while they learn and develop skills, creativity, teamwork and many other essential values. for life.
Volunteers from different countries do their bit for our children by working hard teaching them different subjects, types of art, personal expression and sports and games. Volunteers and children are guaranteed a great experience in addition to continuing what we love to do most, which is teaching our children their creativity. Thank you for considering our project. Adults of both sexes 18+. We also accept school groups, university groups and family groups with people of all ages under the supervision of their own group leaders.
Cost:
We ask for a donation regarding accommodation at the centre. Suggested donation is US$10 per volunteer per day and covers the costs of laundry of bed linen, towels, basic supplies, drinking water, internet and basic services.
