Cost:
US$200 per week which includes accommodation, food and activities.

Other information:
We also arrange volunteer placements with Yuru (Juan Carlos Donoso), a shaman specialising in ayahuasca, temazcal steam healing, and indigenous agro-ecology. Yuru is based in the indigenous village of Natabuela, not far from Ibarra. Yuru (and his wife Noimi), charge US$600 per month which includes all meals, accommodation and visits; but excluding treatments. Those interested in learning about the work of a skilled and qualified indigenous mid-wife (traditional indigenous obstetrics), can also arrange to work with Carmen Cumba, who is a friend of Yuru.
