"I go to a liberal arts school in Florida and since I am majoring in Public Relations, I learned a lot about applying my skills to non-profit work. Additionally, I have always had a passion for teaching and I somehow wanted to find a way to merge both of my passions together in my own country. So through research, I found this project and fell in love. Teaching the girls filled me immensely. They are full of desire to learn and radiate nothing but love. The feeling of sharing knowledge I was lucky enough to have access to with my people felt great. The organization is not huge nor bureaucratic so authentic input is easy. I was able to further extend my help to campaign building and donation recollection. This is an organization where you get to shine in what makes you passionate while transforming the lives of these little girls. As you volunteer, you also get to immerse yourself in the culture, meet new people, eat and overall have a wonderful time. Our country is beautiful and full of talent and more people need to see this."- Lucia Alfaro
