Duration of program:
Our recommended minimal commitment is weekly volunteer service for at least 2 months.

Age requirement:
Adults of both sexes 18+ (volunteers under the age of eighteen accepted if accompanied by a responsible parent or guardian).

Cost:
Volunteers and interns are responsible for their own lodging, living and transportation costs. The Garden provides complimentary meals for volunteers and interns during regularly scheduled service.

Other information:
Formal volunteer training provided on the 1st Saturday of January and 1st Saturday of December each year. If potential volunteers with special skills and abilities that suit the needs of the Garden are interested in long-term volunteer commitments with us (10 weeks or more), we can arrange special trainings and may at times be able to make arrangements with them to stay with a local host family. In order for us to devote the time and resources into doing this though, they would have to first commit to a short term volunteer trial period (2 weeks) for consideration.
