Volunteering Abroad Shouldn't Cost the Earth

Workstay in the Panama Canal Panama

Description

Our houseboat is a floating lodge, the only one that has ever existed in the Panama Canal. The view from our terraces is straight onto the Panamanian jungle. We are rated as one of the top experiences in Panama. Our volunteers would be living in the same houseboat and enjoying the same incredible Panama Tours & Jungle Land experience.

Reviews

Wonderful with nature!
"This truly is a unique experience! You have to be a hard worker, lover of nature and definitely the outdoorsy type - if you are all these things you will learn so much and have a fantastic experience. Days consisted of taking guests out on hikes, kayaks, boat trips and paddle boarding, tending to their needs, and talking to them about all the amazing nature around. I was there for three months; learnt so much about the flora and fauna of Panama, and had a great time taking guests around and sharing all my knowledge with them. If you're up for a challenge, this is the place for you!"- Julia Galbenu
