Progress for All in the Amazon Peru
We are a growing project working for the economic and social development of the less privileged communities in the Amazon of Peru. Our focus is on education, environment, ecotourism and cultural exchange. We believe that working together with these communities in developing different skills for its people and creating new job opportunities, not only will help reduce poverty but also activities that are damaging the environment such as, illegal and illegal/legal gold mining. Protecting the Amazon should be a global commitment because of its incalculable biological and ecological value.
We need volunteers to help in our different programs:

- Teaching German Program
- The Explorer Kids (scout) Program & Environment education

"Semillas Life is a very special project. Christian, the head of this project is very enthusiastic and you can really feel how he is putting his heart into it. He is making sure that all volunteers are feeling welcome. Before they arrive he is personally responding to all questions and worries and during their stay he is introducing them to locals, showing them special places, taking them on adventure excursions and just making them feel home. But he is also committed to help the local community like offering free afternoon education, supporting small businesses to grow and working with indigenous women association. During my stay I worked in a team with other volunteers and together we developed teaching ideas and gained more confidence. Christian was always open for new ideas and the kids and adults were thankful and happy to learn. All together it was a unforgettable experience."- Anne Poenisch
