Volunteering Abroad Shouldn't Cost the Earth

Working for Children Peru

We are a local Peruvian organization that works by building possibilities for the children of the Andean communities in Peru. We have different projects in education, health and community development. Our project is free, nobody pays to volunteer but they cover their own expenses. We also receive interns in different work areas. The entire project takes place in the city of Cusco.

Desire to help others; desire to learn Spanish, desire to share their qualities.

Dates of program:
Year round

Duration of program:
1 week minimum, 8 months maximum

Age requirement:
Adults of both sexes 18+

The project is free but volunteers need to cover their own living expenses (e.g. accommodation, food, etc). Volunteers are welcome to stay at our hostel for US$10 per day which includes breakfast and free Wi-Fi. The money paid to the hostel goes back to our organisation to support our work. There is also the option of finding lodging elsewhere in Cusco if preferred.

Other information:
Our organization works every day to improve our projects, if you want to know a little about our culture, share your qualities and especially learn from children, you are welcome to this little world that we have built.
