Volunteering Abroad Shouldn't Cost the Earth

Volunteer Classroom Teacher Honduras

Description

We exist to provide quality, affordable bilingual education to the educationally disenfranchised while fostering meaningful multicultural collaboration. Our model is more than an international teaching program; we distinguish ourselves by the breadth and depth of our community engagement, our dedication to fostering long-term relationships with our communities, and our commitment to ensuring that our teachers are trained and supported to unleash the amazing potential of their students and to learn from them and their families.

BECA invites 6 international volunteers to join our volunteer teaching team each year, supporting both elementary and middle school students at 2 local schools, San Jeronimo Bilingual School and Santa Monica Bilingual School.

Reviews

I couldn't recommend more.
"The time I am passing with BECA is being the most meaningful in my life. Cofradia is a really safe city. And the volunteers can walk around without any concern. The whole community knows us, and the relationships we make here are really incredible. In the professional part, I feel I grow one year every month. It's a lot of work to do every day. But look the kids learning so fast, and the friendship between the team makes everything worth at the end of the day. Even saying all of it, it is still impossible to describe how good is to work for BECA."- Bruna Gomes
