Dates of program:

Duration of program:
2 months minimum

Age requirement:
Adults of both sexes 18+

Cost:
All incoming volunteers will be asked to pay a one-time processing fee of US$100. Due to economic constraints, we are unable to provide our volunteers with free housing, although we do allow volunteers to eat lunch for free at our school cafeteria. Ecuador is relatively inexpensive (rent is about US$150-300 a month and food is also relatively inexpensive). Homestays are more expensive (US$300-450 a month), but normally include three meals a day and laundry.

Other information:
We can assist volunteers in finding accommodation and Spanish classes during their stay in Quito. The price for individual Spanish classes ranges from US$7 to US$9 per hour. We also offer internships for professionals in the areas of medicine, psychology, social work, education, and administration, and are happy to take on interns from other backgrounds.
