Dates of program:
Year round

Duration of program:
2 months minimum

Age requirement:
Adults of both sexes 18+

Cost:
All incoming volunteers will be asked to pay a one-time processing fee of US$100. Due to economic constraints, we are unable to provide our volunteers with free housing. Ecuador is relatively inexpensive (rent is about US$150-300 a month and food is also relatively inexpensive). Homestays are more expensive (US$300-450 a month), but normally include three meals a day and laundry.

Other information:
We can assist volunteers in finding accommodation and Spanish classes during their stay in Quito. The price for individual Spanish classes ranges from US$8 to US$10 per hour. We also offer internships for professionals in the areas of medicine, psychology, social work, education, and administration, and are happy to take on interns from other backgrounds.
